虽然榜上的rap歌曲史无前例地占据着大部分位子，但是多数是一个人多个坑，Eminem和50 Cent可以四首单曲同时上榜，新人的声音听得并不多，好像rap歌坛一下子都是老将的天下了。所以我也禁不住要问Who Is Mike Jones？他是来自Houston的地下rap歌手，其实这种歌手到处都是，每个夜总会总会有些所谓underground的歌手，他原来是做MC的，所谓MC，就是Master of Ceremonies，很多rap专辑中都可以听到一个人在那里高声地叫喝，这就是MC，不过我一直觉得一首歌有了MC就不舒服，2004年Mike Jones的Still Tippin'开始出现在主流音乐圈，现在这转专辑通过华纳公司发行，只是起到一个distribution的作用，他的东家还是Swishahouse。专辑虽然是双CD，不过第二张其实是第一张专辑的混音，确切地说是chop喝screw，就像这几个单词一样，会把歌中地vocal进行扭曲之类的处理。再来看看这张专辑，比起上一张完整听过的50 Cent的Massacre，没有那么容易听厌，主打歌Still Tippin'除了背景的弦乐，没有特别出色之处，相比之下，配上chorus的Flossin'是一首不错的旋律行rap，Scandalous Hoes的旋律也有一种特别的气质，或者说，专辑包括chorus部分的歌曲都十分上耳，还有类似的像5 Years From Now，Laws Patrolling，Grandma颇像是LL Cool J的Father重现。在纯rap部分，Know What I'm Sayin以其调皮的旋律在在专辑中显得特别。多样的曲风，多样的主题，让我的耳朵没有休息。
