几年前写的几段不太通顺的话，朋友帮我谱了曲，乱弹一下....

Negligence

verse:
Fear the day to come,
when I'll end up numb,
neglect, and forget,
affecting joy and fun.

I can't myself forgive,
thoughts of sin let through--
in wholesome composure,
though fits of pains i brook.

chorus:
Tomorrow i may careworn grow,
aging body yields to life,
torpid sense, bleared sights,
negligence over me presides.
I know me now, but know not how--
I'll change, and what in me HE has endowed.

bridge:
acuteness can't with time contend,
the mind shan't course of life transcend.
